The Pfizer Board: Audit Committee Financial Expertise

The Pfizer Board of Directors has determined that all the members of the Audit Committee meet the financial literacy requirements of the New York Stock Exchange Listed Company rules relating to audit committees and that and that the following members of the Committee — Mr. Cornwell, Mr. Burns, Ms. Nora Johnson and Mr. Sanger — are "audit committee financial experts" for purposes of the SEC's rules.

The Board of Directors also has determined that each of the members of the Audit Committee is "independent," as defined by the rules of the New York Stock Exchange.
