With Pfizer since 1994, Lisa has worked in several areas of worldwide regulatory affairs, spanning support for regions as well as product development and marketing support. Currently she supports cardiovascular products in the Global Established Products Business Unit. Until recently she was the regulatory lead for the azithromycin/chloroquine development project that aimed to develop an intermittent preventative treatment for malaria in pregnancy. During this experience she gained insights into the challenges and needs of Sub-Saharan Africa.
Fellows working with FHI360's Ghana office in 2014-2015 will serve with the Development Office to research, analyze, develop and execute a new strategic plan for non communicable diseases, including health screening, interventions and training. Lisa will begin to research and develop a strategic plan for non communicable disease screening and training with local staff in Accra.
Lisa believes her GHF experience will help her return to Pfizer with a deeper understanding of the challenges and development opportunities in countries such as Ghana.
FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions.
