Pfizer Global Research & Development has four major locations across the United States and England. While Pfizer colleagues at each center employ unique technologies to focus on site-specific functions and therapeutic areas, together they comprise an integrated global network of discovery and development. Pfizer Research at Groton & New London, Connecticut

• 780,000–square–foot facility located on a 29–acre peninsula at New London

Pfizer Research at Rinat, South San Francisco, California

In 2006, Pfizer expanded neuroscience research and acquired Rinat, a biotechnology company in South San Francisco. It is now a part of Pfizer Global Research & Development and is an integral part of the company's biotherapeutic discovery efforts.

Pfizer Research at Cambridge, Massachusetts

Founded in 1999, the Research Technology Center (RTC) is a small, vibrant, and fully functional PGRD site, located in the heart of Boston's academic, biotechnology, and medical hub. The mission of the RTC is to apply cutting edge technologies to address specific challenges that prevent patients from receiving the innovative medicines they need. By setting up this one-of-a-kind operation, we have created an entrepreneurial environment that offers our scientists freedom to take risks and infuse our research with innovation.
