Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company: The World's Largest Pharmaceutical Company

Upholding our corporate responsibility to the communities where we live and work

While we work to improve health for people worldwide, we also strive to be a trusted and responsible member of the communities in which we work and live. We do this by going beyond the business of discovering and developing medicines to give back to our communities through urban revitalization initiatives, school partnerships and support for local civic and cultural institutions. And, we help to foster forward-thinking, community-based approaches to create opportunities for those in need in communities throughout the world.

Pfizer's deep-rooted commitment to corporate citizenship and community involvement dates back to the founding of the company in 1849. In fact, "community" is one of the company's core values; it is deeply engrained in the fabric of Pfizer's culture.

The Pfizer Community Health Advocacy Program: A Dedication to Corporate Citizenship

Through the Pfizer Community Health Advocacy Program, Pfizer is working to improve access to quality health care information for people in communities across the country and help advance public health by educating and empowering communities and individuals around the United States. We do this by reaching out to a network of thousands of community-based organizations (CBOs) who reach a broad range of Americans.

As of December 1, 2007 the Pfizer Community Health Advocacy Website will convert from an interactive site to a static one. The email and events calendar functions will be disabled, though the site will continue to have a deep research library of health care and access to medicines information.
