Protecting Our Water

• Conserved an additional 15% water from 2006 to 2007, reducing consumption of water by 11 million cubic meters (approximately 3,000 million gallons).
• Reduced total water use by 36% from 2004 through 2007.
• Returned an estimated 54% of total water used to its original source as non-contact cooling water (2007).

Did You Know?

Water conservation is also achieved through our energy projects and those completed during 2007 will contribute toward reducing Pfizer water usage by over 1.3 million cubic meters on an annual basis.
