EHS Roles and Responsibilities
Integrating EHS principles throughout our business units and facilities worldwide is the responsibility of the management of the Company. Governance of the EHS Program is instituted through the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and the EHS Steering Team.

| Pfizer Inc EHS Steering Team | Senior Leaders from Pfizer's businesses who provide overall direction and oversight of EHS performance, including review of EHS policy, public goals, compliance, and significant enforcement actions. The Chair of the EHS ST is also the Chief Compliance Officer who periodically reports into the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. |
| EHS Leadership Team | Senior Leaders from Global EHS and EHS Legal who are responsible for alignment of EHS strategy, policy and performance expectations across the Company — regionally and programmatically. The EHS LT Chair is the VP of Global EHS and along with the lead of EHS Legal provide the conduit between site level and global EHS issues and those brought forward to the EHS ST. |
| Global EHS Team | A center-based function comprised of EHS technical professionals (Global EHS) and its attorneys (EHS Legal) that establishes strategic direction, sets performance expectations, and oversees EHS performance metrics. Engages and enhances stakeholder relationships both internally and externally and provides technical and legal expertise through the EHS Legal attorneys. The Global EHS Team is also responsible for monitoring emerging EHS issues and managing them appropriately. EHS communications and stakeholder engagement is facilitated by global networks, communities of practice, and within our business lines. |
| Site EHS | Develops comprehensive programs and procedures to implement EHS regulatory and guideline requirements and provides competent EHS guidance and advice to site line management. Proposes site EHS targets and goals. Develops and delivers EHS training. Investigates significant EHS incidents. Monitors and reports site EHS performance. Contributes to the management efficiency and effectiveness of EHS through participation in EHS global networks and programs. |
