Lisa has worked in market analytics at Pfizer for 12 years. She has supported commercial development, business development, brand marketing, and strategy across a number of therapeutic areas, including women’s and men’s health, neuroscience, and inflammation.
The elderly population in China is increasing rapidly. The number of people that are older than 60 years of age will increase from 165 million in 2010 to 440 million by 2050 and this age group will account for 34% of the total population in China. To strengthen the professional education in providing for elderly care, Shanghai SanDa University established the Senior Health Research Institute (SHRI) in December 2012. In 2014-2015, Project Hope Shanghai office will be working with Fellows to support the SHRI’s care programming.
Lisa will serve with local staff to develop a non communicable disease prevention program, promoting healthy aging to older populations within China. Her experience in understanding market dynamics, unearthing customer insights, and driving strategy will help her to contribute actively to Project Hope’s efforts to establish a mission and vision for eldercare and healthy aging in China.
Through her experiences and exposures, Lisa expects to have an increased capacity to view problems and opportunities through new and different lenses and to expand her solutions orientation, which will enable her to move more efficiently from insight to opportunity to action.
Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere) is dedicated to provide lasting, sustainable solutions to health problems around the world, working in partnership with people and communities, giving them the opportunity and the means to help themselves.
