Adam has worked for Pfizer since June 2003 supporting various areas of the PGS Global Logistics & Supply (GL&S) organization and more recently as a Sr. Associate in the Supply Chain Planning group. Currently, he is responsible for developing and managing GL&S Conveyance Security programs designed to strengthen the integrity and security of Pfizer's global supply chain.
Management Sciences for Health (MSH) works with the Government of Kenya to improve the supply chain for medicines and health commodities across the country. Pfizer Global Health Fellows will assist MSH to develop a master supply chain plan for the country; define and set quality assurance standards for health commodity providers; and determine the information needs of suppliers, warehouses, hospitals, clinics and pharmacies across the supply chain. During Adam's Fellowship, he will assist MSH in its work with Kenyan authorities and providers to build a sound supply chain plan and introduce quality and information flow improvements.
From his GHF experience, Adam hopes to learn more about cultivating strategic mindsets and approaches to developing and strengthening commodity health supply chains to alleviate supply interruption. Adam believes his experience advancing supply chain development in a resource constrained environment will explore new depths of his leadership abilities and challenge him to garner a better understanding of his relationship management and communication skills.
MSH is a nonprofit international health organization with the mission of saving lives and improving the health of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people by closing the gap between knowledge and action in public health.
