Albert joined Pfizer in July 2004 as a reporting Specialist working in the Business Enabling team in the Global Financial Solutions (GFS) Shared Services organization. He was involved in the development of key performance metrics, scorecards and reporting solutions as the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution was rolled out to European markets. In 2010, he moved into a project role on the SAP European Deployment, a new ERP system. In this role he is responsible for project managing activities related to the GFS Invoice-to-Pay process area, ensuring the solution delivered meets the operational process footprint.

In 2012-2013, Pfizer Global Heath Fellows with Intrahealth will support efforts to strengthen the financial capacity of local non-profit health care providers in Kenya.

From this experience, Albert believes he will gain an increased understanding of the important role and impact Pfizer can have in developing countries, as well as an appreciation of the challenges to delivery of adequate health care. Additionally, he hopes the environment in which he will be working will allow him to return to Pfizer with enhanced project management and teamwork skills.

IntraHealth has served the public health needs of developing countries for nearly 30 years. With an original focus on women's and children's health, IntraHealth's work has broadened to include innovative solutions in accessing basic health care and strengthening human resources for health and interventions for HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases.
