Crystal joined Pfizer Canada in 2003 and is currently a Quality Compliance Associate responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all pharmaceutical products destined for the Canadian market. Her responsibilities include liaising with contract manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with government regulations, product registrations, and standard operating procedures. Crystal has participated as a quality subject matter expert on several new product launch teams such as Champix and Somavert. She also volunteers with Palliative Care, Habitat for Humanity and has run a marathon and several half marathons for charity.
On her assignment, Crystal will work as a Pfizer Advisor — Public Health Fellow supporting CARE India in developing strategy specifically supporting health system management, finalizing a business plan for the national organization, support to capture field learning and developing knowledge management products for advocacy and organizational learning. Crystal hopes her experience will enhance her leadership and interpersonal skills and that she will return with a broader global perspective.
