Additionally, Jerid completed his MBA concentrating in Strategic Management in May 2010.

On his Fellowship assignment with Population Services International (PSI), Jerid will be working to help develop a new product (basic clean delivery kit) to ensure that proper, basic, sterile supplies are available at the time of child birth to women who will most likely deliver outside of a hospital setting. Jerid's responsibilities will include: kit development, pricing, supplier identification, packaging development, and providing strategic recommendations for distribution, training, and communication in two pilot districts.

Through his Fellowship, Jerid hopes to learn more about the needs and challenges of working in a developing market. Jerid believes that he will return from the assignment with a deeper understanding of identifying/satisfying the needs of a targeted population with a specific area for improvement. He also hopes to improve his abilities to look at problems from different perspectives in an effort to create best–in–class solutions for all stakeholders involved.
