Nicole has worked for Pfizer since March 2005 in the Corporate Audit group, where she is currently a Senior Audit Manager. She oversees audits of Pfizerýs worldwide operations evaluating internal controls, ensuring alignment with policies and local regulations, sharing best practices and providing value added recommendations to senior management. She manages strategic initiatives including Pfizerýs Enterprise Risk Management Program, Risk Assessment & Scheduling and Guest Auditor Program. Nicole is also a Certified Public Accountant with four years of public accounting experience. She actively participates in Pfizerýs Big Brothers Big Sisters Program, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and New York Cares.
On her Fellowship assignment, she will develop financial models to support the expansion of the organization and develop and maintain budget forecasting models. Nicole views this as an incredible opportunity to leverage her skills, global/cultural experiences and commitment to social responsibility. She hopes to return from her assignment with a stronger understanding of general business and public health care concerns in developing countries and needs for improving HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention around the world.
mothers2mothers (m2m) uses education and empowerment to prevent mother–to–child transmission of HIV/AIDS during pregnancy, support a motherýs adherence to medical treatment, and reduce the likelihood of AIDS orphans.
