Ushaýs experiences at Pfizer over the past 15 years include Animal Health research and development, strategic management of intellectual property, strategic alliances, strategic sourcing, and strategic business management. She is a trained Pharmacist and holds a doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and an Executive Business degree from Rensselaer Polytechic Institute.
On her Fellowship assignment Usha will work with Family Health International (FHI) in Ghana on the Pfizer Mobilize Against Malaria Program. The program is focused on establishing a sustainable model to increase awareness and enable timely intervention to effectively treat malaria. From her GHF experience, Usha hopes to bring back to the company another dimension and a new perspective on how to address the challenges of todayýs environment.
