Prevention of Pneumococcal Infections Through Vaccination: The Pharmacist’s Role in Immunization

The overall goal for this initiative is to increase pneumococcal vaccination rates, primarily within UF & Shands (the University of Florida Academic Health Center), as well as throughout the State of Florida, via improved pharmacist performance and contribution to interdisciplinary care in outpatient and primary care settings.
