Mission Statement
The mission of Pfizer's Health Care Quality Improvement & Education effort is to cooperate with health care delivery organizations and professional associations to narrow professional practice gaps in areas of mutual interest through support of learning and change strategies that result in measurable improvement in competence, performance or patient outcomes.

Pfizer offers four grant application windows per year. All grant requests received within a single window are reviewed comparatively. Funding decisions are announced approximately 5 weeks following the close of these windows:
- December 1 to January 15, 2010
- March 1 to April 15, 2010
- June 1 to July 15, 2010
- September 1 to October 15, 2010
We are pleased to announce that we will be expanding the areas of need that will be supported. We will publish updated supported educational areas of need for 2010 within 6-8 weeks. This posting will include new areas of support added as a result of the recent Wyeth acquisition. Until such time, Pfizer will not accept independent education requests in areas that were previously funded by Wyeth that do not appear on Pfizer's currently posted areas of interest.
