Pfizer Named to Working Mother’s ‘100 Best’ List
With its 15th consecutive appearance on the list, Pfizer has been inducted into the magazine’s Hall of Fame.
Working Mother, a U.S.-based magazine and website for career-minded mothers, has once again included Pfizer on its yearly 100 Best Companies list. Now in its 28th year, the list recognizes companies for adopting a wide array of progressive workplace programs, including child care, flexible hours, mentoring programs, initiatives to advance women, and paid family leave.
“Pfizer is delighted to once again make the Working Mother list,” said Beth McCormick, Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion. “We see Pfizer’s flexible policies and practices as an important benefit for all colleagues – not just mothers and fathers – as they balance their personal and professional lives.”
“Flexibility programs are important from a business standpoint as well,” continued McCormick. “As the global employment picture improves, companies that can and do offer an array of work-life programs will be better able to attract and retain top talent, especially young talent who repeatedly name ‘flexibility’ as a top consideration in their choice of employer.”
Pfizer will be recognized in theOctober/November issue of Working Mother and on workingmother.com, and will be honored at the Working Mother Work Life Congress in New York on October 23.
