Erik Bossan is the Regional President, Developed Markets, for Pfizer’s Upjohn business, which includes North America and the International Developed Markets. Previously, he was Regional President, North America, Vaccines, leading an organization of 700 colleagues in the U.S. and Canada and managing approximately $4 billion in revenue. He was responsible for driving the success of Prevnar 13 in infants and adults.
He joined Pfizer in 1995 and has held a number of commercial positions across various therapeutic areas and markets. Prior to his current role, Erik was Regional President, AfME/India, Vaccines, and led the effort to initiate large Prevnar 13 public vaccination programs in India and Algeria. From 2006-2011, Erik served as Country Manager, Pfizer Czech Republic, and under his leadership, sales doubled within 5 years. Erik also has experience working in Asia, having spent a few years in Hong Kong as Asia Pacific Business Development Director and then Regional Marketing Director.
Erik holds a doctorate in pharmacy and a master’s degree from ESSEC Business School in Paris in his native France.
