Carol is a Senior Manager in the U.S. Patient & Physician Marketing team. She joined Pfizer in 2003 in the Worldwide Organizational Effectiveness group, where she supported senior management on structural re-design and process improvement initiatives. In 2006, she transitioned to the Latin America, Africa and Middle East organization as a Regional Brand Manager for Celebrex, Dynastat and Lyrica. Since joining the U.S. Spiriva team in 2007, Carol has led consumer advertising and professional medical education initiatives. She has an MBA from New York University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
On her assignment with Family Health International (FHI), Carol will support the Pfizer Malaria Partnership - Ghana project, which is focused on testing, refining, and demonstrating a sustainable model to increase access to effective malaria treatment. FHI is one of the largest and most established nonprofit organizations active in international public health. Its programs address the holistic needs of people living with HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and other infectious and chronic diseases around the world. Through her experience, Carol hopes to gain a broader cultural understanding and a deeper appreciation of the challenges to improving health care access in emerging markets. She expects to return to Pfizer with a broader global perspective and increased knowledge of working with different external stakeholders that can be applied to future endeavors.
Family Health International works to address key public health and development need in developing countries, including family planning, infectious diseases and chronic conditions.
