Sean Rapson

Director, U.S. Brands — Established Products

Sean joined Pfizer as a colleague in September 2008, after helping define Pfizer's Sales and Marketing transformation strategy as a consultant with Capgemini Consulting. Sean is now a member of the Lipitor brand team in the Established Products Business Unit's U.S. Brands group — helping develop the Lipitor For You Program, which supports the needs of patients in their efforts to advance their health and well-being.

In 2012-2013, Save the Children (STC) will work with Global Health Fellows to build to increase public awareness and involvement in its campaign to reduce child and maternal mortality in East Africa. During his Fellowship, Sean will be working with STC staff to roll out a health awareness campaign to increase understanding of maternal health challenges and transmit key health messages to communities in Tanzania.

As a Pfizer Global Health Fellow, Sean is looking to give back to the global community by supporting STC's efforts in helping to prevent the almost nine million children around the world that could die from basic preventable illness before their fifth birthday. Sean believes he will return from this experience with a different perspective that he can apply in advancing Pfizer's efforts in emerging markets.
