In 2006, it was acquired by Pfizer, and is the biotechnology unit within Pfizer Worldwide Research & Development, dedicated to doing its part to fulfill Pfizer's mission of working together for a healthier world. Located in South San Francisco, California, Rinat provides the feel of a small company with the resources of a large pharmaceutical company in the heart of the biotech capital of the world.
