From Pain to Gain: Evidence-based Interventions in Chronic Pain Assessment and Management

As a primary care facility providing direct care to approximately 4,500 patients per year, we believe a large cohort of patients at Laguna Beach Community Clinic (LBCC) suffer from chronic pain as a result of varied primary diagnoses. Addressing these needs, the goal for this project is to increase focus, improve efficiency, and expand effectiveness of chronic pain treatment in our practice by implementing consistent diagnostic practices, broadening treatment tools and transforming provider enthusiasm toward the best care of chronic pain patients.
