Role Summary
The Content & Channel Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing omnichannel content strategies aligned with Pfizer’s brand, customer engagement goals, and go-to-market objectives. This role ensures content is tailored and optimized for various channels and customer segments to deliver a seamless, high-impact customer experience. The position works mostly closely with the Omnichannel Insights Lead, actively seeking and applying their guidance and consultation to ensure data -driven, insight-led content strategies. In collaboration with Marketers, the GTM (Go-to-Market) Excellence team, and other commercial functions, the role supports the development of a holistic omnichannel strategy (integrated channel planning) and provides personalized guidance on local execution. The position also focuses on building internal capabilities, fostering best practices in content and channel orchestration, and promoting a consistent “One Pfizer” approach across markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contents Planning & Advisory
- Partner with Marketers, GTM Excellence, and other commercial roles to develop integrated, market-specific omnichannel strategic plans.
- Translate omnichannel strategies and tactics into actionable content plans.
- Provide guidance on orchestrating channel usage by customer type to enhance experience and engagement.
2. Content Development & Deployment
- Advise brand teams and content creators on designing, producing, and delivering content optimized for different channels and customer segments.
- Support & develop localization of global content and ensure it aligns with local needs and regulatory requirements.
- Manage timelines, reviews, and approvals to ensure high-quality, compliant content delivery.
3. Channel Orchestration & Optimization
- Provide best practice guidance on channel mix, analytics utilization, and effective use of SEO/SEM strategies or PfizerPRO.
- Monitor performance and customer journeys to identify gaps, content opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Introduce marketers on A/B testing, enabling rapid iteration and customer feedback-based optimization.
4. Capability Building & Best Practice Sharing
- Build omnichannel content creation capabilities across marketing teams.
- Support the development and dissemination of omnichannel (integrated channel planning) best practices and frameworks in collaboration with global and regional teams with guidance of omnichannel Insights Lead.
- Audit content proposals and provide recommendations to ensure alignment with omnichannel strategy.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align with internal stakeholders across marketing, digital, medical, legal, compliance, and external agencies (e.g., CoLab) to support seamless content execution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to local markets, providing hands-on support for integrated execution tailored to customer needs.
6. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all content complies with internal policies, industry standards, and legal regulations (e.g., e-permission, industry code of conduct)
- Manage operations related to omnichannel deployments, including customer data permissions and platform compliance.
7. Mindset & Innovation
- Thrive in complex, fast-paced environments by showing agility, ownership, and initiative.
- Proactively bring new ideas and marketing innovations to improve content strategy and customer engagement effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Strong skills in design thinking, planning, and project management
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
- Effective facilitation and stakeholder management skills (Experience working in Agile / SCRUM methodology is preferred)
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the omnichannel marketing landscape
- Ability to support communication initiatives, foster a growth mindset, and contribute to marketing team transformation and innovation with change management
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Experience working in managing complex, cross-functional projects and agency relationships is preferred)
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Analytics or Tableau is a plus, but not required.
- Tech-savvy, with hands-on experience using various digital tools, including Marketo and the Adobe Suite.
- High level of integrity with sound decision-making and strong ethical standards.
- Fluency in English
