Those range from pain management treatments and medicines that enable sedation during surgery to life-saving antibiotics, critical blood pressure regulators and some of Pfizer’s first biosimilars.
The approximately 1,800 colleagues in McPherson support highly technical manufacturing capabilities including aseptic (sterile) manufacturing, lyophilization (freeze drying), biologics and biosimilars fill/finish, terminal sterilization and on-site stability testing.
McPherson produces medicines in several different presentations, including liquid and freeze-dried vials, pre-filled syringes and specialty syringe systems.
