Colleague Community Engagement
Pfizer's Colleague Community Engagement portfolio, funded by the Pfizer Foundation,* provides resources for Pfizer colleagues to make a direct impact in communities around the world and in local markets where they live and work through donations, matching gifts, volunteer opportunities, and volunteer grants.
Pfizer colleagues are encouraged to align their volunteer efforts and financial contributions to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Pfizer is dedicated to helping achieve the SDGs, and by supporting the goals through their efforts, colleagues can feel a greater connection to the global community.
Pfizer colleagues generously give their time and resources to support programs that they are passionate about in their own communities, and we support their community engagement through the following programs:
The Pfizer Foundation Disaster Relief Match
The Pfizer Foundation Disaster Relief Match program provides an opportunity for Pfizer colleagues globally to respond to natural disasters. The Pfizer Foundation will match the donation 1:1, and the maximum match is based on the severity of the natural disaster.
The Pfizer Foundation Matching Gifts
The Pfizer Foundation Matching Gifts program matches U.S.- and Puerto Rico-based colleague contributions. Donations are made to eligible 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations located in the United States and Puerto Rico that meet program criteria.
The Pfizer Foundation Team Volunteer Grants
The Pfizer Foundation Team Volunteer Grants provide U.S.-based Pfizer colleagues with an opportunity to volunteer as a team of five or more for a minimum of 15 total hours with an eligible 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that meets program criteria. When teams reach qualifying hours, a grant is sent to the organization.
The Pfizer Foundation Individual Volunteer Grants
The Pfizer Foundation Individual Volunteer Grants encourage U.S.- and Puerto Rico-based colleagues and retirees to volunteer on their own time with eligible 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations that meet program criteria. When individuals meet qualifying hours, a grant is sent to the organization.
Pfizer Global Volunteer Network
Through the Global Volunteer Network, Pfizer colleagues globally have online access to volunteer opportunities to support community volunteer efforts. Colleagues have the ability to post, promote or participate in hands-on service activities in communities around the world. All service activities are mapped to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Pfizer Annual Giving Campaign
The Pfizer Annual Giving Campaign offers an opportunity for eligible colleagues to register for payroll deduction (one-time or ongoing) to support their cause or community and receive a matching donation from the Pfizer Foundation.
