About the U.S. Commercial Organization
Pfizer's Commercial organization is responsible for successfully positioning Pfizer's product portfolio in the highly competitive pharmaceutical marketplace. This work spans the creation and refinement of disease-area strategies, new product planning, brand launch preparation and execution, and the ongoing evolution of brand positioning, messaging, and promotional initiatives — as well as the market access, analytics, and customer engagement strategies that ensure patients, prescribers, and payers see the full value of our medicines.

The U.S. Commercial Associate Rotational Program is your launchpad into a career shaping how Pfizer connects patients to the breakthrough medicines that will change their lives. Over the course of 2 years, you will build a strong foundation across Pfizer's Commercial organization, work on real business projects, and receive mentorship from brand teams and senior leaders — developing the skills and experience necessary to grow into a future Pfizer leader.
Additionally, the Program Management Team will provide career development and coaching opportunities to support you throughout your journey. At the end of the 2-year program, candidates will be responsible for identifying, interviewing, and securing a permanent role within Pfizer.
Program Details
- Where You May Rotate
The U.S. Commercial Associate Rotational Program consists of four six-month rotations, exposing participants to the foundation of marketing skills and experiences and building a breadth of knowledge across related commercial functions.
- What You Will Achieve
As a talent incubator, the U.S. Commercial Associate Program is designed as an immersive experience to accelerate how participants develop into future leaders.
Commercial Associates will graduate from the program having made meaningful contributions to the business and patients we serve, built a robust network of relationships across the organization, and identified the areas where they’re most passionate about growing their careers.
- Who Should Apply
Basic Requirements:
- Must be a recent college graduate from an accredited college/university program with a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants must have graduated prior to the start of the program.
- Must have completed the Pfizer Futures Internship Program with high recommendation.
- Strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA)
- Must be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. This job or any derived full-time opportunity is not eligible for nonimmigrant visa (e.g. H-1B) or permanent residence (green card) sponsorship under our guidelines. Pfizer is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
Nice to Have:
- Pfizer Commercial Internship experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare/Public Health, Psychology, STEM, Life Sciences, or Engineering strongly preferred.

- Where the Program Is Based
- Currently, the U.S. Commercial Associate Program is based out of our Headquarters in New York, NY. Selected candidates are expected to report 2.5x weekly.
