What You Will Achieve
The Pfizer Digital SAP Global LSP Capabilities Lead is seeking an energetic, innovative and strategic individual who will be responsible for the integration of the SAP Inventory Management and Logistics Execution functions with external partners in the Global Pfizer Supply network. The role will drive global solutions and leverage the Logistics Enhancement Request (ER) process to deliver these solutions. The position will work closely with the Serialization COE team to drive the optimum balance between quality, cost, and maximizing value of our Digital systems and services investment and to ensure that all requirements are being met.
This is a Global role reporting to the Senior Manager, Logistics and Intercompany Solutions. The role is responsible for:
All partner integration activities with LSP partners and associated edge systems.
Assisting in the architecture of the business and functional processes for both internal and external platforms in addition to partnering with other Digital organizations to ensure solution alignment and on time development delivery.
Support local continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices.
Meet with management to evaluate client needs, resolve problems and obstacles, provide resources, reset direction and maximize effective interactions and functioning. Proactively provide solutions to complex business process issues with or without Digital implications.
Execution of the Digital Enhancement Request (ER) process. This will include assisting the Digital Logistics and Development Teams to work within the guidelines of the enhancement request process and ensuring ER requirements are clear and complete. This also includes ER impact assessment, cost estimate analysis, and requirements gathering.
Author new and revise existing technical documentation, when necessary.
Streamline existing architecture to simplify future processes.
Build agentic AI and analytic capabilities to enhance management reporting dashboards and test execution.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strong relationships with technical groups and business management at all levels.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance Pfizer Logistics systems business value.
Proactively look for solutions to enhance current operations.
Provide analytical solutions and possible improvements in the LSP design.
Assist in the architecture of the business and functional processes for both internal and external platforms.
Partner with other Digital organizations ensuring solution alignment and on time development delivery.
Enhancement Request (ER) Process Feasibility and Impact assessment.
Identify associated ER estimates and costs as well as assist in the annual forecast process.
Identify and refine related requirements.
Implementation of Serialization Solution enhancements.
Execute business process analysis, functional solution design, task delivery, interaction with vendor technical support teams, technical diagnostics and testing
Collaborate with PGS colleagues to provide support as required
Collaborate with Digital Logistics Solutions team providing support as required
Work with the support team to provide a process to transition enhancements.
Strategy & Solution Development: Define and execute the roadmap for digital solutions that orchestrate and optimize activities across a diverse network of 3PL partners.
Logistics Operations Command Center (LOCC): Design, implement, and manage a state-of-the-art logistics command center that provides real-time oversight, incident management, and decision support for all 3PL operations.
Visibility & Analytics: Lead the development and deployment of end-to-end supply chain visibility solutions, leveraging advanced analytics and data visualization to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
Data Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce robust data standards, integration protocols, and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and seamless interoperability between internal systems and 3PL platforms.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with logistics operations teams to identify friction points within 3PL handoffs and develop digital tools and capabilitiesto automate and streamline these processes.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred
7+ years IT experience
5+ years enterprise SAP Supply Chain experience, with preference towards ERP system interfaces in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in the Logistics/Supply Chain space with integration to 3PL.
Working experience working as part of a team in major, complex business change/IT programs
Knowledge of software development lifecycle
Demonstrated capability in communicating effectively and embracing diversity
Working experience with all MS Office tools (Word, Power Point, Excel, Project, Visio etc.)
People Interaction Skills. Including leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of relationship between SAP Sales Order management functions and Logistics operations.
SAP IDoc functionality knowledge
SAP BTP and Fiori experience
Experience with Serialization processes and requirements, with SAP ATTP experience being preferred.

Manufacturing and process automation systems knowledge
Strategic thinking and problem solving
Organizational knowledge/agility
Experience with Lean/Operational Excellence tools and driving process efficiencies
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge and expertise with the following disciplines desired but not required:
Project Management methodologies (i.e., PMI)
Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
Continuous Improvement methodologies (i.e, Six Sigma certified)
GMP and associated regulatory requirements
Experience with Temperature monitoring edge systems and interfaces.
Experience with DEA and other regulatory reporting requirements.
