Job Purpose
- Drive demand & supply planning process through close collaboration with commercial teams, customers & RSSC for Vietnam.
- Communicate forecast to supply sites (in SAP) for their production plan and scheduling.
- Also, prevent stock-out and excessive inventory to ensure financial health with regards to write-off costs and maintain safety stock levels.
- Watch obsolete/near expiry stocks and send alerts to respective commercial teams on monthly basis so that they can start taking corrective actions to avoid write-off exposure. Also, perform root cause analysis of inventory key deviations vs. targets and of inventory drivers and define improvement plans.
- Analyze historical sales trends, evaluate forecast results to understand drivers for forecast inaccuracy and highlight impact/ramifications. Create an accurate demand signal for supplying plants in collaboration with stakeholders such as Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, RSSC & Quality Operations.
- Develop action plans for improvement of forecast performance & manage alignment of commercial financial forecasts with unit forecasts and market activities.
- Support Commercial with NPLs and upside management
- Support end-to-end supplies till Vietnam warehouse in collaboration with commercial, RSSC, finance, Market logistics and GLNS to meet OP and supply commitments.
- Provide monthly visibility on supplies and & study In-market trend and align forecasts to address shortages
- Support RSSC in stock reservation and transfers to other markets to avoid write-off
- Have monthly cross-functional forums to address supply challenges
- Ensure efficacy of master data set up in SAP system for all products sourced.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Member of planning process and coordinate with Sales, Finance, I/O, Regulatory and RSSC Teams to ensure timely availability of stocks for sale at locations through Sales Forecasting in SAP IBP in consultation with Sales Teams.
- Drive strategies, methodologies and best practices that ensure excellence in demand planning – including statistical forecasting, predictive analytics, irregular/regular demand projection, scenario planning and revenue/cost projection
- In partnership with the Supply Planning Team and S&OP leadership, lead the Divisional implementation and refinement of an market/regional S&OP process to ensure optimal decision making.
- Maintain transparency of Demand Planning performance with executive leaders and ensure delivery of performance results.
- Release availability reports at month beginning to Sales teams. Follow up with for products with low inventory.
- Release monthly report and drive conversations on on short expiry of stocks to commercial for timely liquidation to minimize loss on account of expiries.
- Co-ordinate with RSSC for upsides or during unexpected supply interruption, such as demand sharp rise, product recalls by Pfizer or competitors and quality or production related stock-out, to work to minimize the damage caused including gathering data for production, internal, distributors and business partners’ stock.
- Work on ease of making supplies, challenging roadblocks and exploring innovative options to achieve goals in compliant manner
- Support acceleration of New Product Launches and timely supplies to support business
- Supporting OPEX Governance for Vietnam operations.
- Drive governance with RA & RSSC on PCM & CMC changes
- Actively engage with commercial teams on Partnership alliances and a governance framework.
Key Contribution Measures
- Attainment of relevant KPI’s as measured monthly (financials included)
- Mitigate risk and ensure compliance with corporate and local governance.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy of information within Pfizer Supply Chain Management Systems used in the management of continuity of supply.
- Identified continuous improvement opportunities servicing our mission, our purpose and specific objectives and the subsequent successful completion of implementation through personal leadership or coaching of others.
- Demonstrate OWNIT culture
Skills / Knowledge / Qualification / Experience
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry, FMCG, Food Industry highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), high analytical skills.
- Experience of project management preferred
