What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Develop and lead/co-lead highly complex projects, creating mid-term plans that impact results
- Leverage relationships to meet the needs of various business units, serving as an advisor to others
- Act independently on self-initiated projects, using knowledge from others and exercising judgment in complex decisions
- Review work for effectiveness and business impact and evaluate the work of colleagues
- Exercise foresight and judgment using knowledge and experience within business units
- Develop innovative ideas and lead divisional projects, implementing Agile principles across all levels and departments
- Gain consensus on technical approaches and implementation plans from peers, business sponsors, and management
- Influence senior management decisions that impact business direction across all customer types
- Partner with the Global Data Management organization to integrate application solutions and provide leadership for the successful delivery of technical aspects of all Digital Solutions & Emerging Technologies projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree required with at least 8 years of experience
- Demonstrated progressive experience successfully designing, delivering, and maintaining Information Technology business solutions
- Ability to take a systematic approach to estimation of technical projects
- Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and relationship management
- Experience as a leader and manager, with proven capabilities in using the talent and succession planning processes to establish plans for managing talent pipeline
- Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best possible solutions
- Demonstrated experience in effective organization and time management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree
- Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience in mobile or related emerging technology
- Knowledge of system integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
