Overview:
Pfizer is seeking a highly experienced Direct-to-Patient Solutions Lead to lead and develop the direct-to-patient solutions, including providing the strategic business direction and requirements for PfizerForAll, our comprehensive direct-to-patient platform as it is expanded and optimized. A key focus for the role will be driving and developing a differentiated and leading direct-to-patient solutions for our new obesity therapeutic area, while also continuing to drive access across other migraine, COVID-19 antivirals and vaccines . The role will be integral to transforming Pfizer’s patient-first platforms and offerings, including PfizerForAll, enabling seamless access to telehealth, patient support, home delivery, cash pay options, prior authorization support, and more.
The e-commerce experience will be a critical engine for driving transactions valued at more than $5 billion in revenue. The lead will need to bring deep expertise from digital health companies and e-commerce, with a track record of delivering programs that drive behavior change and create frictionless, user-friendly experiences for patients.
This position requires collaboration at the highest levels, both within Pfizer and with external partners, including interactions with C-suite executives and CEOs. Reporting directly to the Head of the US Primary Care Customer and Channels Lead, the role will be a key leader in shaping Pfizer for All’s direct-to-patient experience and ultimately driving growth and success across multiple therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Enable Obesity Portfolio Leadership: Partner with the US Obesity Lead and the Chief Marketing Office to deliver a comprehensive direct to patient experience for obesity treatments - ensuring that patients have access to the most efficient and supportive care pathway. Develop strategies to scale the obesity portfolio within the PfizerForAll platform, to maximize value across the patient experience.
E-commerce Experience as a Critical Engine: Drive the strategy for the e-commerce platform within PfizerForAll, and defining the user journey and business and partnership requirements to facilitate patient access, engagement, and transactions. Ensure the platform supports a high volume of transactions, valued at over $5 billion in revenue, while delivering a frictionless solution for patients. A key part of this role will be enabling transactions for an increasing and significant cash-paying patient segment, providing accessible payment options and ensuring a streamlined, efficient checkout.
Own the Patient Journey: Develop and drive requirements for a seamless direct to patient journey from initial consultation to ongoing care, ensuring integration across key touchpoints across the Primary Care audiences.
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the Chief Marketing Office, the US Obesity Lead, Platform leads and franchise leaders across Vaccines, Migraine, and Cardiovascular to align the direct-to-patient strategy with broader business and therapeutic goals. Foster collaboration across teams to deliver an integrated, seamless patient experience.
Strategic Partnerships & CEO-Level Engagement: Identify and build strategic partnerships with external companies, including digital health companies, telehealth providers, and tech firms. Engage directly with C-suite executives and CEOs from partner companies to drive PfizerForAll’s expansion and enhance patient access solutions. Negotiate and structure strategic partnerships that ensure interoperability and drive value across the patient access journey.
Enable Innovative Patient Access Solutions: Work with cross-functional access and affordability teams and the Product and Go to Market teams to ensure that the direct to patient experience both online and offline is designed to deliver innovative pricing models, cash pay options, subscription services, and patient support offerings in a seamless and frictionless manner, enhancing patient access and experience. Use analytics and feedback loops to measure impact and continuously optimize the platform's offerings to meet patient needs.
Cross-Therapeutic Expansion: Serve as the leader providing strategic input into PfizerForAll Product and Go to Market roadmaps ensuring that it continues to evolve as a platform capable of supporting the growing needs of the Pfizer portfolio. Work with leaders to provide input into the annual PfizerForAll planning
Impactful Data-Driven Strategy: Use data insights to continuously optimize the direct to patient experience ensuring that it delivers measurable impact for patients and the business. Leverage automation, data-driven insights, and design thinking to improve patient onboarding, refill adherence, and care continuity. Drive continuous improvement in patient experience and engagement based on real-time feedback and data.
Qualifications:
BA/BS with 12+ years of work experience OR MBA/MS with 10+ years of work experience
Experience: Extensive experience in digital health, e-commerce, or consumer-facing services with a track record of delivering large-scale programs that drive behavior change and create frictionless patient solutions. Experience working in digital health companies is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of health data interoperability (EHR, FHIR, eRx, payer APIs). Pharma experience is not required, but will be beneficial.
Leadership: Strong leadership and management experience with a proven ability to scale patient-first solutions. Experience managing large, cross-functional teams and aligning strategic vision with patient-centric initiatives.
Strategic Vision & Execution: Ability to develop and execute a long-term strategy for PfizerForAll, ensuring it becomes the leading direct-to-patient platform across therapeutic areas. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on innovation and patient access solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, sales, R&D, and operations, as well as with external partners. Ability to interact and engage with C-suite executives at Pfizer and partner organizations.
Customer-Centered Focus: Deep understanding of consumer behaviors and patient needs with the ability to design, implement, and scale patient-first solutions. A passion for using digital tools to improve patient access and care.
Results-Oriented: Strong results orientation with the ability to manage complex programs, optimize patient-facing solutions, and deliver business impact across multiple therapeutic areas. Experience in driving high-value, e-commerce-driven transactions, particularly for cash-paying patient segments.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $254,100.00 to $403,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
