ROLE SUMMARY
The Supply Coordinator supports the execution and reliability of supply chain operations across North Africa by coordinating supply, inventory, and order-related activities, while serving as a key driver of continuous improvement at cluster level.
The role ensures effective end-to-end coordination across Demand & Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, and key stakeholders to secure product availability, proactively manage risks, and improve operational performance.
The role contributes to North Africa Continuous Improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies, supporting process harmonization, enhancing reporting and digital tools, and reinforcing standard ways of working across Demand, Supply, Customer Service, Logistics Operations, and other stakeholders.
Operating across T1 and T2 activities, the role combines hands-on execution with a structured CI mindset and regional exposure to support scalable, resilient, and simplified supply chain operations in North Africa.
Operational Excellence
Contribute to North Africa Continuous Improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies, supporting process harmonization, enhancing reporting tools, and reinforcing standard ways of working across Supply and Logistics Operations.
Support the definition, tracking, and follow-up of Continuous Improvement (CI) priorities for the North Africa cluster, ensuring alignment with GSC objectives.
Translate high-level CI ambitions into practical and executable initiatives at market and process level.
Maintain the cluster CI backlog/action tracker to ensure priorities are visible, realistic, and outcome-focused.
Support the definition, consolidation, and tracking of operational performance KPIs (e.g., service level, inventory coverage, delivery adherence, backlog,….).
Strengthen performance visibility through improved dashboards, reporting tools, and structured performance review routines.
Support teams in translating KPIs into concrete corrective and preventive actions.
Continuous improvement
Serve as the North Africa (NA) Tier 2 (T2) Continuous Improvement (CI) specialist, supporting CI governance and execution across the cluster.
Maintain, review, and continuously improve standard work documentation; strengthen process capability and organizational design in alignment with the GSC IMEx Ecosystem framework.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by facilitating cross‑functional teams to assess new technologies, generate ideas, and deliver value‑adding solutions
Logistics operations:
Support the implementation of logistics process improvements, tools, and operational projects to enhance efficiency and standardization.
Support the deployment and adoption of logistics digital solutions, reporting systems, and standard operating processes, including user support and continuous enhancement.
Provide operational support for inbound, outbound, and transportation initiatives to strengthen performance, ensure regulatory and internal compliance, and improve service levels.
Contribute to logistics master data governance and enhancement activities to improve data accuracy, consistency, and reporting reliability.
Support inventory optimization activities by identifying risks and improvement opportunities, and by recommending and tracking corrective actions.
On Ad-hoc basis and when required, support Execute periodic inventory reconciliations (daily/weekly/monthly) in accordance with established inventory control procedures; analyze variances and communicate results to the Logistics Specialist.
Customer Experience
Contribute to Customer Experience (CX) and digital transformation initiatives to strengthen order management performance, improve service efficiency, and increase customer satisfaction.
Support the transition from manual, reactive service delivery to standardized, digitized, and customer‑centric operating models.
Collaborate with market, cluster, and above‑market stakeholders to support the deployment of new tools, processes, and ways of working.
Leverage data and customer insights to identify service pain points, automation opportunities, and quick‑win improvements.
Serve as a liaison between business requirements and digital solutions, ensuring successful adoption and realization of expected benefits.
Quality and Compliance
Support the GSC Market Lead inaudit readiness activities, including preparation and coordination for in-house DC, PCO, and BOH audits, as applicable.
Provide support for ad hoc projects and initiatives related to Quality, EHS, and compliance, ensuring alignment with applicable standards and procedures.
Project Management:
Support the GSC Market Lead and T2 members by gathering, validating, and consolidating the information and data required to enable the implementation of new projects, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
