Proposal

Smoking Cessation for People with Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse Disorders: Expanding Capacity in Ohio’s Medicaid Health Homes

The goal of this project is to make evidence-based smoking cessation services available to Ohioans with behavioral health conditions to reduce death and disability from smoking related chronic disease. The overall aim will be achieved by expanding and enhancing the capacity of Ohio’s healthcare providers and increasing tobacco cessation rates among serious and persistent mental illness consumers.
