Doug Lankler
Chief Legal Officer, Executive Vice President
Douglas M. Lankler is Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Pfizer Inc. Doug reports to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He has been with Pfizer since 1999, has been a member of Pfizer’s management team since 2009, and has led the legal division since 2013.
As Chief Legal Officer, Doug supervises all aspects of Pfizer’s legal division. He has responsibility for legal aspects of corporate governance, commercial, compliance, litigation, business development, research, labor, and intellectual property issues.
Doug is a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where he prosecuted corporate and organized crime, white collar fraud, and terrorism. In 1999, he received the Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award.
Doug is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and Cornell Law School.
